Yahooooooo result.... or a moral victory at the very least...
It may have been a fantastic days weather...
Admittedly I could have got the 90 almost finished
But in the interest of maintaining household karma I spent it on Caz's cazuki...
The bonus is that I talked her into the same colour scheme as the 90.. :)
So its gonna be his n hers matching off roaders
SAD OR WHAT :)

Still at least I'm in her goodbooks for a while and the future of Plasticote is assured for another few months...
Plenty more pics on the site... :)

Its Plasticote super gloss RAL 2004 Orange, all I've done is key the old paintwork with 240 grit and spray it on, its a flexible plastic paint that ive used for years on parade boots (black not orange :) ) and it gives a superb recoatable finish in most conditions..
fiver a can from B&Q, taken 3 cans to do what you can see on the vitara, including all the door jams, under the seals etc etc
Cheers Steve

Did you say they do a Black??
 I feel a change of colour coming on

i found black gloss which is available in "super" on the plasti-kote site so there you go - cos thats what we'd need
-

and you don't lose it in the car park just need my mud club sticks to finish her off "wot a monster"

The backs of these spots were done with plasticote, though I used a primer, main colour (I forget which black exactly) and then a metallic sealer which is a bit like clear laquer.
It's great stuff, easy to use and gives a really good finish in less than perfect conditions. All sorts of colours available too, including glow in the dark paint.....

Yep its the 'gloss super' that i used, as others have said a really good finish even if conditions are not perfect, the landy seems to take a hell of a lot more than the vitara, i reckon 25 cans to finish but that has given a really good thick coat so about £125 to do the 90.
Cheers Steve

sod that idea then!

Shall I have the first glow in the dark 110! I need a colour change!

\/\/inner!
Luminous 4x4.... i feel a respray coming along!
