As I'm planning to go with 235/85 16 M/Ts at some point, I was looking at the rear door, and it would seem that the spare is going to be a might tight fit on the rear door. The sticky'd chart doesn't mention that spacer is required, so I'm just asking if I can expect the spare to fit. And if not, who makes/sells a spacer bracket?
Thanks.

I have a 235/85 on my back door - no issues.

Devon 4x4 do a modified spare wheel carrier for larger wheel sizes

Or should you need too... you can move the carrier up and re-drill it to suit.

Alrighty. Cheers.

No problems on mine with that size tyre.

This is mine with a 33x 12.5x15 on the standard mounting:

Ok, not much room between the bumper and tyre but enough, although I had to elongate the mounting's fixing holes a little to move it up a bit.

I tried to fit a 235/85 on a standard disco rear door yesterday, no chance, it needed the mounting lifted about 1 1/2 inches.....
Odd why some fit eh!!
