My son Jack has grown out of his baby seat and now requires a booster seat.
Untill now he has been sat in a baby seet fitted in the middle of the front row but now needs a proper seat for the 3 point seatbelt.
However the seat rocks from side to side as there is no shape to the standard row middle seats.
What have other done?

Rightly, or indeed wrongly, our 6years old daughter just uses the standard seat (& belt)
We tried the booster she uses in SWMBOs 'works van' & the 'spare-car', but it doesn't sit properly & then offers no support to her back.
