Does anyone know where i can hire/borrow a wheel clamp from sat/sunday to tuesday/weds as i'm borrowing my bosses car trailer and am worried about it being nicked!
I'm in Poole, Dorset if that helps :)
-
Tool Hire shop?? The ones that hire the mini diggers with trailers? Maybe
-
Thought of that but none seem to list them on their websites and i'm @ work til 6 tomorrow, working sat and off crack of dawn sunday so i'll have to ask my mum or sister/bro in law to go and pick it up if i can find somewhere that has them for hire!!!
-
leaving it near another vehicle?
i use a big padlock and chain
failing that take a wheel off it....
-
Take all the wheels off it. My mate's now has 3 wheel locks and 2 hitchlocks.
And it's in a caravan yard :!:

No matter how many locks and gates you put stuff like this behind, there's always one key that will open any lock: a Pi-key.
I agree with everyone, get that thing secure. Wheels off and hidden away and chain it to something immovable.
-
go buy a length of chain from b&Q and a big padlock then secure it to something.
Leave it blocked in behind another car if you can, and if it has a lock on the hitch, leave it attached to the car and locked on!.

Park it in a clamping area......
Okay I will get my coat

Hmm, well sadly it didnt fit up the drive so its locked to the car, chained to the lamp post and i've parked my car 5mm from the back so its blocked in and secured as best i can, gonna go and pester the neighbours for a wheel clamp in a minute!!

park landy in a carpark without a ticket. get clamped, drive off with clamp attached to wheel.
clank clank clank all the way home, lock pick clamp, attach clamp to trailer :P
actually, i just remembered you're landy is a bit worse for wear........... oh well, the theory was there!
