unipart do a heavy duty clutch mate, fitted one in mine a few weeks ago, £58 or there abouts, may be alittle be more as i get it trade, any unipart dealer will get it for you, PART NUMBER IS GCK2609AF list price is 125.89 but you should get some off that 8)

130 clutch plate is H/D and slightly larger diameter. This is quite a common fitment to the 200/300TDi engines that are used hard off-road or for lots of heavy towing.

Thanks, just ordered one from Paddocks....

valeo do a hd clutch for the 200tdi disco
i ended up putting one i as i kept toasting the cheaper std ones
wasn't, uber expensive under 200 quid for the bits
its has a much heavier sprung drive plate, tougher friction material and a much heavier pressure plate
results in a heavier pedal though
i toughened up the clutch fork to cope witht he extra weight

All parts have now landed here ready for doing the job over the weekend, the 130 plate that i got is indeed a valeo one, 8 springs in the middle, and seems to be thicker material....
Gonna see if i can do the clutch with the gearbox in place, by moving the engine forwards.....
I'll take lots of pics and make a thread out of it...!!
Wish me luck!!

Right, clutch done, head still off, engine back in...... the 130 clutch plate is no bigger than a standard one, but it did seem beefier, and had 8 springs instead of four...... old clutch wasn't dead, but the flywheel/cover were quite 'blue'......
-
Heavy duty clutch i fitted had no springs to break at all, racing plates have no springs, so fitting one with 8 springs seems a bit strange, not knocking anyone but did say that the 130 plate is no bigger, as you cant fit a bigger plate to a standard diamter cover and flywheel, Did post the part number for ya dude 8)

Well, it's in now, so time will tell.... don't ask me how, but i managed to read your earlier reply, and it went straight through my head, none of it stuck!!

I've replaced 2 130H/D clutch plates in replacement of the standard 200TDi clutch, and both plates were slightly larger diameter, but still within the limits of the clutch cover, so there are no fitting issues to overcome. The plate also has 2 - more springs than standard.
