On 300 maybe but definatly not on a 200
Its a days job very easy once you get the steering wheel off I think the dashboard it self only has 8 bolts holding it on

Ah,
Did ask him for a 300tdi

Thanks guys. Looks like the dash is coming off then. Still, it's another job learned :)

what makes you think it's jammed?
-
Good luck with it, mines jammed as well  , just waiting for a very nice man (solihull mick) to put mine in & fit the AC at the same time

what makes you think it's jammed?
The vehicle has sat outside for three years in all weathers, i even found a mouse nest in the engine bay and the washer pipes eaten away by the little devils  I can see the courtesy light dimming as the blower switch is activated which leads me to believe the motor is drawing a certain amount of power but not able to turn. I could be wrong on this matter, I'm no techie by a long chalk  I haven't investigated it thoroughly yet and it may be something completely different.
Any advice would be great

mine done that, then smoke started to come out from under the dash when swmbo used it, so she opended a window & kept going :(stoopid): , had to take the fuse out in case she uses it again & sets fire to it for real this time :(scared):

When I stripped my dash out to get at mine, I found that it had melted its way through the casing!!
so I sourced another through Eblag and job done. I love having heat :D
