Bets anyone?
For Piglet??
My Discovery passed 3 times in a row, with only routine servicing
(I never did more than change the oil & filters for any of them)
-
Yep ... for Piglet.

Yep ... for Piglet.
I have faith Neil.
A pass, perhaps with 'Advisorys' (do they have them anymore??)
As an aside, our 'spare car' (Fabia 1.4Mpi estate) goes in tomorrow for its MoT test.
It's 4 years old & has covered 16,000miles! (with some clonking bushes at the rear)
-
hope so, only likely to fail on something small and insignificant! good luck anyway.

He
He......
He passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't understand ..... he's at a MAIN DEALER and he passed his MOT without a long list of "things to be done" ... after sitting for nearly a year!!!

Great news Neil - you need to get him dirty now

It seems that it depends where you take it for the dreaded test. My old Samurai passed with an advisory for a leaking stearing box, a few days later a mate who is a tester said that he would have failed it on that :? :? :?
-
I have the advisory sheet for the MOT on mine from 12 months ago listing a problem with brake discs - I haven't done anything to them & it passed an MOT this year with an advisory on a ball joint - no mention of the brakes.
It true it depends on the tester's interpretation
-
Fancy a bag of chips Friday night?
-
Penelope (noo toy) passed her test on Monday :D couple of advisorys
Means I can go on holiday with her at Easter 8)
Pleased to hear about Piglet!

I always take mine to the Ambulance Service garage that was previously in the Hospital grounds (but it's now on an industrial estate about a mile away from where we live), as I know the tester & trusted him to be fair & honest.

How could you!! You said you'd never set foot in one of those places again.
I'm sooooooooo disappointed

It's there now & I looked at the figures before it went.
Curiously enought it was also Mot'd on the 22nd last year
It has covered only 3,074 miles between the 2 inspections!

Will my Disco pass then? :D (Long way off yet though)
-
I just realised that the MOT on the disco ran out in january!
Better get it booked in soon I think!

Just walked down for it (not at the Ambulance garage this time though, as I didn't book it in)
It passed!, I had expected a 'Fail' on the clonking bushes
