I use BOC argoshield; the last time I refilled it was about 40 quid for the half size.
It all depends on when the bottles were last pressure tested as to if the accept them.
They may not accept if you don't have an account with BOC

If you haven't a BOC account steer well clear, get someone who has an account to get it for you, the H&S surrounding bottles now is insane but understandable considering the dangers (I have done a BOC course)

boc argoshield large bottle (w) £37.96 and the halfsize (y) £31.90.
but they get you on delivery £31.25. all prices are plus vat.
i have a boc account, but am changing over to another company, there rental is £60 about £40 cheaper than boc, and a full size refill is £18 delivered.
dont ask me how they do it, but they do!

We use Air liquide, also cheaper than BOC. Still charge delivery @£15 or £8 to collect  :?
BOC OWN the bottles, you pay rental, if you go to get it filled they may take it off you

Better off to get an account cos if anything goes wrong and you have a fire or such in your shed, garage or where ever you will need to show the paperwork. Fire Brigade will ask
