ok, so the special tracks have been out a while now... how do they compare to the simex equivalent?
-
cant really compare them like for like as the insa is almost a blatent copy but in small usable sizes where as the simex ar brand new & the original pattern, also are available in much bigger sizes
-
Used both in the past, must say cant bet insa for grip and money, never fails :D
-
Value for money....the Insa's are cheap remoulds and copies of a tyre that was developed at massive expense so its not supprising they are cheaper.
However i rekon the original proper simex ET or ET2 are best, they also come in bigger sizes and arent remoulds, both of which count in my mind!

My Insas seem good, but never had simex so cant really judge. They certainly win on Value for Money and I dont doubt they grip well, just need to see how they last....
-
wel, in my view...
the softer compound tread on the insa lets the main claw round off and then you see the performance drop off
the main biting claw isnt as scooped and as long as the simex
my simex have a harder compound still havent lost there edge yet on the claws just a odd chunk here and there have been torn off on rocks  ,
but :!: he can go virtualy where i go.. its just the hight difference that allows me to go further  not for long tho  he's waiting for his tyres to land in the country and be shipped to him from d44
value for money i really really cant nock them,
