Title: I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve
Post by: xmob on March 26, 2007, 11:46:10: I just can't concentrate on work today!

At 5pm today, we will be heading out to Pickering to collect our new Land Rover. It's a big step for us, having always bought cheap cars and kept them until MoT time. Makes us feel all grown up. :D

Have fun whatever, I am sure it will be great. Have never bought a brand new car but I can imagine it being just like christmas too :wink:

An '03 Freelander TD4 ES Premium. Tax is band F, so just escaped that.

The missus did fall in love with a Range Rover while in the showroom. I told her that if she can find Ã‚Â£62k, she can have one. :D

Post by: j99mud on March 26, 2007, 18:52:33: ahhh, you need to ease her in to getting it muddy slowly, I suggest buying her presents, start with a small "present" like a mud number plate, then a slightly larger present like a snorkel then a nice shiney new set of MTs then a winch! and hey presto there you go darling ive bought you all these lovely presents and in return i think you should let me take it for a little play in the mud! absolutley fool proof idea (probably)
