All I want is a 12 sided 13mm socket to get the calipers off. I dont want yet another set of sockets!!!!
-
H*lf*rds sell single sockets.
-
Or go to your local friendly garage fitter and ask him to help you they get people like snapon, mac tools etc who come round
But for the sake of one socket, somewhere like halfrauds could be your best bet
Or enter "13mm hex socket" on ebay and sit back
-
as above halfrauds or machinemart,
-
Or just ring a local hardware supplier. They will be a bit more expensive for one socket but they are usually better quality than your standard cheep socket sets. Look in yellow pages under ironmonger or fixings stockholders - but make sure they are open on a weekend as they are likely to work Mon - Friday but may be open on Saturday morning. They will probably be on an industrial estate so don't go with your good lady expecting to say "go shop!"

Hi
you could try Partco as well
cheers

-
did you have a 13mm ? have you lost it or did it break?
Halfords professional are used by plenty of mechanics and do get the job doen...they wont break the bank either...snap on are lovely but you'd think they were forged from unicorn tears.
-
Found em ..... bi-hex sockets ... Cheers for the pointers.

You dont know the wife ...... She would end up spending a fortune on tools n such

as above halfrauds or machinemart,
machinemart dont sell many individual sockets (nor spanners). I went there after i lost a couple and they pointed me to halfords unless i wanted a whole new set.
