I think Suzuki used to run 215/75-15 AT's on their test fleet, not sure what make. I had some Colway AT's as every day tyres, cheap and OK on road.

Machos and MT are an 80/20 split, but machos beat MT hands down

I run 235/70R15 Colway AT's on my Jimny, but its lifted.  Ive seen on with 225/70R15's on.  its arches were FULL, but it seemed ok.  Did REALLY well on them too.

Mine is a little sluggish on road due to the size, but grips well in all but the most sloppy stuff.

215/70 would be a good substitute for the stock rubber.  it will give a small lift, but would fit and run ithout any bother.

On my 2003 GC i run 215 65 R16 General Grabbers AT2's.

Without a word of a lie it will out grip my Landy Discovery on BFGoodrich Muds!

I run Colway Ctrax A/T 205/70 R15's on my unaltered Jimny. The guy who fitted them for me said they were the best Retreads he'd seen. They balanced up perfectly and are not at all noisy on the road. Pretty cheap as well. As far as I know Colway only use Goodyear casings and they seem to be lasting pretty well. I may go for their M/T's next time as they will be better in the sticky stuff. Any feed back on them from any one would be appreciated.

Colway MT's are nasty IMHO.  i had a set on my LWB Frontera a whil back and changed them within 4 weeks.  Noisy on road, and with likke road grip.  Never gave them a change to prove themselves off road.  if you want a more aggressive tyre than an AT there are better than the MT's for a similar price

Colway MT's are the dogs whatsits off road, but as an off road biased tyre they won't be good on road. If your doing mainly road miles go with AT's. MT of any make are a poor compromise on the road, giving less grip, more noise and wear out very quickly on tarmac.
