I have just had 4 BF Goodrich All Terrain TA 235/70/16's fitted to my discovery. I told the fitter that i would be towing with the car and what would be the best pressure to run the tyres on a daily basis. He replied with 33psi would be fine for eveything. He set the pressures at 33psi and the car feels as wobbly as it did on my previous Goodyear Wrangler A/T's.
My question is..... have I been given the right information or should my tyres be inflated more?
Any past experience or advice would be greatfully recieved.

I *think* I used to run the rears at 36/38 depending on load and the fronts at 32/34 (again depending on load)

mine run about 33psi all round but i raise the rears when needed

IIRC it should be 26 in the front and 36 in the back, this assumes you have the car fully loaded frequently as the manufacturer often states you can lower the back 3 psi if it's empty.
I find my BFG are softer now they have been on for a year and they make the back end a bit 'happy'

Hi Richard,
Yes ive still got the Atlantis Blue Goddess!!!!. She is starting to show her age a bit now, bits of grot popping up in the normal places. I still love her to bits though.
Going back to tyre pressures, I might pop my rears upto 36 next time i tow her and see how i get on. I just don't want to give the tyres any undue wear.
But thanks for thr replies so far.
