Title: belt tensioner
Post by: Tiki Al on April 01, 2007, 10:24:06
since playing in the mud last week i thought i'd destroyed my alternater with muddy water    but i've since found out it wasn't the alternater that was squeeling but the alternater pulley tensioner, it's seased tight   , now it's a dicso 200tdi '95 i think, but i can't find one listed for a 200tdi (not even sure what it's called )

here's a pickie of the part someone on here might be able to tell me what it is  :P

personally id keep it for when u fit powersteering to the 90
so ur looking at a new pump

However As you dont have PAS Dont fit a new pump & expect it to be hunky dory as the pump will seize due to a lack of lube,

so its either fit Pas to ur truck or work out how long a belt you need to go from the crank to the alternator,
