Title: REALLy P****** now!
Post by: bezzabsa on April 02, 2007, 17:59:34: well, SWMBO (on my orders) took the disco for a spin today - after 1 mile - she stopped and found that the entire Liquid contents of the coolent had decided they wanted to be free :evil: ..so Now I have to trace the leak and try and fix it - judging by the amount its losing I THINK i can rule out the head gasket - as it doesnt appear to be coming from the top - more like the middle of the engine - so possible core plug???????
And as usual with these things - out bank balance is at its lowest - and we have Huge bills due in :cry: :cry: so whatever we do - aint gonna be for a while - so bang goes our weekend away down our van - and anychance of a daytrip too - as 6 people cant fit into a peugeot 106..!!

Are you sure its NOT FRiday 13th??????? :evil: :evil: :evil:

Well to add to the 'wonderful - ???' week im having -someone ripped SWMBO's CB aerial off her car last night :evil: AND the front door decided that it was going to lose its ability to distinguish between locked and open - resulting in a door that locked itsself OPEN!! cue phone call to supplier to get fobbed off about not being able to get a fitter to us till tomorrow AFTERNOON :evil: ..so after lots of effing and jeffing they sent someone out to close the door - and they are coming to fix (well Hopefully) tomorrow between 12 and 5...so all in all a wonderful start to the week - NOT

P gasket is simple

if u stand on the pas side & look at the back of the timing casing just above the sump there is a bit on the block the coolant collects on & will stain it if the P gasket has been leaking
