Can you guess what I did today? I got this injury, with a matching one on the other side.
Hint, I started at Ed's Field, but it's got nothing to do with off roading.

Paintballing
-
Nope.
It's not off roading, but it does involve a form of transport.

Go karting or something similar? Looks like the marks you get when the seatbelts cut into you under g's.
-
Bungeeeeeee?
Tractor pulling?
Rescueing kittens from drains?
Helping give birth to calves (James Herriott style)?
Dunno, give up!
-
Hurt your neck :?

In the right area now. Try about 4 Gs. :D
But the marks came from about -2Gs.

Did you get a monster case of whip lash?

Did you manage to roll  somrthing :?:

one of those big balls you get strapped into and roll down the side of a mountain
-
Nope.
I was strapped in, but certainly didn't roll down the side of a mountain, that would have been very bad!
Another clue: I was in a T67 (I believe it was a C1 variant).

I'd almost give my left bits to have a real go in something like that.....

Strapping Young Lad got it!
I went up to "get some hours in" with my dad in his Cessna 150 (Auster is currently in bits being nut and bolt rebuilt). One of the other members was about to take his Firefly out for an aerobatic session. He asked if I wanted to go along, and there was no way was I going to turn that down. So my dad took the kid for a pleasure flight while I spent the next hour trying to keep my lunch in.
You know you are in for something special when you are given a parachute prior to going up. There's some video of it, but I haven't had a proper chance to review it yet. If there's anything worth keeping in there, I'll stick it on Google and post the link. We were flying around 2500-3000' agl so the camera work is likely to be "shakey dot in the sky".
All in all, I'd definately do it again and I'm trying to talk my dad into getting a Firefly next.
