Title: Any photoshop aces out there?
Post by: Mudmonkey on April 09, 2007, 09:24:09: I need someone who is good with photoshop to change the colour of the body of a land rover in a prototype picture im making for future mods. Anyone out there that could do that for me?

Anyway heres the picture. Would like it if someone could do it in yellow, dark green (sort of nato green) and sky blue. Keep the soft top black though please :P

The way I use is to make the mask, then add a Colour adjustment layer in "Multiply" mode - this works really well if the area you're painting over is mainly white with the detail picked out in black. For the pattern ones, I just add another layer instead of an adjustment layer and paste in the pattern. Getting the mask right is always the fiddly bit. Fortunately Mudmonkey thoughtfully provided quite an easy image to work with.

Yes but I know somone that can do colour tints and I'm thinking that might look good on something...
