I had a look on the Machine Mart site, but couldn't see anything about 'VAT Free'

As I'm still chasing a compressor (fancy their Hunter 60)

I voted for the one with the biggest number 'cos it's got to be bigger, better and shinier, right?

That's right. To deduct VAT from an inclusive price, you deduct 14.89%.

I think it is done on a branch by branch basis. So you need to watch out for flyers through the post.

Isn't it easier to divide it by 1.175?

Same thing, of course, but I was really just pointing out that 14% off is correct  :)

I don't know the models but watch the power. Make sure it can run full power from a 13a plug or it's not worth bothering.
