hi people trying to find out what thread the holes on the underside of my v8 90s diffs are, there the same holes that are used to bolt that little steering rod protector too. there about 10mm.
just bought some qt guards and they supplied m10x1.25 bolts but they dont seem the right thread. any help much apprciated

I thought I used that size of bolt. Are you sure it's not just the holes are very dirty and this makes the bolt bind? I cleaned mine out pretty well and even so it took some force to get them done up.

Yep,mine was the same. The front was ok cos it had a small trackrod protector fitted from new but the back ones were full of mud/sh*te and underseal

Just a though, what age is your land rover and did they ever use imperial axles on them during the early 80's like on the RRC :?:

They could be 3/8 BSF. Yes they could. They could also be 3/8 UNF
Mine were a very different size to what I expected.

sorted. they were 3/8 bsf. which is scarilly similar to m10 1.25.
