Finally I got a new engine on board! I`m so ready for som serious cruising on bumpy roads....
-
What engine have you put in there? From the photos it looks like a roadside repair!!
-
aaah the trusty old 2.25 diesel. without any cooling by the looks of it too!
-
I have a spare engine. So I actually have a hole engine... And my car is running fine now. And yes, it`s an old 2,25 diesel! Don`t want to ruin a great car by putting in a V8 petrol in it!!!
-
You need a 2.6, 6-cylinder petrol in that thing, dear lady; or maybe not, come to think of it. I have just had mine completely reconditioned at a price that would have bought a failry new Land Rover; but there, at least it's authentic....
-
What you need is a 3 litre wesslake, someone in the 2 club put one in a 88 and runs the thing 9.00 tyres 8) 8) 8)
-
I`m proud over the good condition of my 1974 Landy. And I entend(?) to keep it that way for as long as possible.
When thats impossible, I`ll probobly put in a V8 injection! And get some huge tires!
