Title: Auxiliary petrol tank EFi
Post by: jjsaul on April 22, 2007, 00:58:16
If it fit LPG tanks in place of the petrol tank - and fit a small petrol tank somewhere else, how difficult is it to make sure the pressure is correct for the efi system? What pump do i need?

Cheers

If you buy the comercially available wing tank it takes the standard EFi pump.

Otherwise be careful, the Hot Wire EFi runs a few PSi lower than most other injection systems, 27 PSI rings a bell with me.

I've fitted baby tanks from these people -

Yup, uses original LR pump & gauge sender.  Take care to get the correct one - EFi/carb, different filler necks over the years etc.  And yes, expensive

cheers, Ross K
