hi all
need to think about cleaning out the intercooler 200tdi on the old boy any suggestions about which product to buy and helpful suggestions the disco now done 165000 so i think it needs doing

dazza i used parasene got it from b & q just make sure its dry before you put intercooler back :shock: :wink:

I used parasene as well, from Homebase.

Parasene did the trick for me too :wink: Takes some drying out tho. SWMBO's hairdryer speeded things up tho :twisted: :D

Most probably Parasene with a Land Rover label on it :wink:

People Hi,
here in Greece we use plain ordinary diesel to clean it.
Pour a bit of diesel in it, shake it well, empty it and repeat until the diesel coming out of the intercooler is clean.
Let it dry as long as you can and then put it back.
It may be worth to also clean the hoses and the cylinder head to air filter oil fumes recirculation system on the same time.

Yes, but I bet it's far cheaper for you than it is here :lol:
A UK gallon is 4.545 litres, which works out (at 85.9p/litre) to
