Help!
Following a failure of the front prop UJ, i've manage to replace both UJ's and am about to refit the shaft.
BUT. The bolts attaching the shaft to the transfer box need replacing, but there's not enough space to remove them, they are fitted from the back of the flange.
Anyone an idea how these are replaced?
is it a case of unbolting the flange and then replacing?

There are bodges but that's the gist of it yes. Either file a flat on teh t-box casing
saw them off and refit the other way round :?
or do it properly and remove the flange, get oil on the drive and really wish you had something else to do that weekend

I'd have that one as the lesser of 3 evils

Thanks for that guys
Having just spent a couple of hours underneath trying to get the nut to move I'm opting for the saw and reverse the nut and bolt option.
Looks like I'll be getting some excersise tomorrow with the junior hacksaw
