Hello
I have just made an emergancy stop on some gravel, and at the moment the Hill decent control, Traction control and ABS warning lights are staying on.
I presume a sensor is stuck, but which sensor and where is it??
thanks

not sure on your system but.... some cars if you have made an emergency stop and the ABS light comes on it will normally stay on until the ignition has been turned off and the engine restarted again give it ago if you have not already its alot easier then climbing underneath

Guess we're talking D2 here ?
The favoured 'engineering reset' (aka reboot !) should do the trick as per above.

Yes, its a D2
Tried thta and the lights still come on

How long since your unplanned application of the anchors ? - some of the systems on the D2 stay active for a long time after the ignition has been switched off. See if you get a full house of lights in the morning - if they are still on then you might need to get someone to plug a laptop in and see if there is a 'real' fault code logged that needs a manual clear.
I guess there's always the possibility that one of the ABS sensors has shifted, or got some cack stuck in it - diags might show which sensor was causing the lights to come on.

Its been about 5 hours since I slammed the anchors on.
I'll give it a go in the morning
Thanks for you help everyone :D :) :D

Warning light are still on, its booked into the vilage garage for monday.
But even though they are still on, is it all right to drive ?? the brakes still work

It was the ABS senor on the back that was faulty
