I use JCB grease. It's designed for hard working diggers and seems to do an excellent job.

If the jcb grease is the "blue" type ( sounds like a girly comment)  I can thoroughly reccomend it ,   As we use to use it on my jet skis, But more importantly the trailers for them, as these were frequently submerged in to the salty solent, But with frequent topping up Never had any bearing problems/failure,  I use to get mine from a plant fitter ( strangely enough) I believe it was a tad pricey, But i think would have been worth the money,      But when all is said n done frequent application of any grease is a good idea

I use LO FRIX waterproof grease! By waterproof, i mean it doesnt wash out with water! I can also recommend Graphite grease (usually black) this doesnt wash out to easy either.

Both are for industrial applications..
