TO DRIVE........BRILLIANT, the engine is superb, quiet and very torquey...can pull away in 3rd and it pulls nicely...the box is very close 3rd and 5th, also its like the old lt77, with reverse over by the passenger...the dash cause me a few probs with me knees on entry, but, everything from the dash backwards is same old DEFENDER...STILL BUY ONE THO...and MATTY..., tell ya old man we need some for that weekend..

yes ada were is it on lruk?

Well done!
I had a look at one in the local main-dealer (Guy Salmon-Wakefield) on Thursday.
I do like the interior, even more than in the pictures.
There's no movement even giving it a good tug around, so it won't squeak like the usual one.
The gutters have actually been properly sealed at last, there's a decent layer in there, let's hope it works at last.
Sadly, LR haven't siezed the opportunity to upgrade the lighting
Whilst the standard units may pass any EU/C&U standards, they're still pretty apalling.
They ought to have put 'NAS' sized units throughout (like mine, for example)

i realy like them i think im fixed now even tho it has not got a radio lol
-
the finish on the dash is ok, but, if you are sitting in the drivers seat..look under the passenger side , just above the grab handle and you can see the polysterene... ..plenty of good places for fixing stuff onto, but some how i don't think its that good...but then again its a working vehicle..AS FOR LIGHTS BTM, with what the mota will be doing, i don't think HID would suit it...
-
need to send one around forest 4x4 eh ada :D

....to be honest...i don't know...i was with a family last Saturday and we didn't notice anything wrong...we don't use the brakes when i'm instructing....its all engine braking..

I wasn't thinking of those fancy things, just some decently sized side/tail/stop/indicators.
In the latest issue of 'LRO' (or was it 'LRE') they mention it sitting at 70MPH @ 2300RPM in 6th.
I checked SWMBO's Mondeo TDCi this morning on my way to Worsborough, that gives 70MPH @ 2250RPM! in 5th.
Curiously the Mondeo also shows 2000RM @ 50MPH (in 4th), the same as my Td5 in 5th
-
just a tart of the old one really i cant see any difference apart from the lump in the bonnet and flash dash!
-
There looks to be more room between the steering wheel and drivers seat..... may be I can fit in a new one.....
Oh crap.. that'll make her mad.....
Right the fleet is for sale, I want one!
