I am replacing the oil seal on the rear axle of my 1990 ish rangie axle and am not sure what the torque setting for the nut on the pinion should be :?

Not sure but did mine up with a air rachet then just backed it off half a turn so it spun easy. And never had a problem with it.

 Thanx guys!  I've figured it now tho, it has a collapsable washer behind the bearing, you have to put a new one in when ever you undo the pinion nut, when your doing it up the washer collapses and once it stops thats the right setting for it!!!
