Hi
I have a disco 1 3.5 v8 running BFG mud terrain tyres, what tyre pressures do you guys use when off roading.
I went to billing the other week and struggled making one of the hills, when I checked the tyre pressures the fronts were at 36psi could this be the problem ?

Personally I'd start high until I got stuck and then let some air out, to about 25psi, and then further if I needed to.

Hi
I went to billing the other week
i didnt know thier course was open all year around. i thought it was a 1 off special course for the big show.
as per psi i always run at 32psi ish as i have noway of reinflating them to get back home again!

wow, im not saying this is right but i normally run 26/28
i rarely air down unless its a hard day and then i drop to around 18psi.
When i do rock crawling or something of that ilk i drop to 12/14...not too suitable for laning as they dont like going fast at that pressure.....

1st off all, thanks for a great weekend bulli
tyre wise, when offroad, id run your tyres for normal cond's at 22psi, but if it was real soft ground id drop down to 18psi.....16 at a push
at weekend i started at 18psi and ended up down at 13 but had to be real carefull in some places expecialy on the rock punches
