hippi

rusty nuts   , spray loads of wd about.

You will need to access top of tank (through inspection plate in the floor) so you can get to feed and return pipes, sender connection....., these will be covered in muck and corroded....., take care not to snap them off or damage threads, etc......

The fill pipe is best accessed via the side bulkhead lining (in the back, from inside) from the fill cap end....

If its the same as a 300tdi the tank is held on as well by a large metal strap that goes over the tank and is bolted onto the chassis either side of the tank.

Maybe it goes over and under the tank, I remember seeing it when I had the floor pan out, painted it silver which looked cool and then I put the floor pan so it was a waste of time
