There is a place in Buton that did a great job on my 300 tdi head.

unfortunately, it wasnt the cylinder head at all.
i've broken a piston ring, which has scored the bore and wrecked that piston.
so its gotta be bored out and a liner put in.
£900 thats gonna cost me, but thats basically gonna be a rebuilt engine.
new big end shells, new main shells, new rings throughout and a top end overhaul.

okay, so me car has had its engine rebuilt.
the question now is: whats the best way to run it in?
do i just keep the revs down and keep my right foot very light for 1000 miles? or is the any special way to do it?
