you ever seen a radio placed hear, the rrc has a telly were the rear veiw mirror is and were the radio is there is just a plastic insert, i cant see the point of it myself

mine was there on the last rrc i got off gtomo.

i am thinking of putting one there or getting a dashtop thing to put the radio in then put the cb in the current radio slot :D

i could understand that if you wanted the cb there, but why just put an insert ther, i dont understand, maby he just liked it there

Yes, usually earlier non air con models  :wink:  Keeps the passenger from messing with the volume  8)

I think the tray was an option on poverty spec models, plus the centre console is barely long enough for a modern DIN fitting radio, I had a squeeze with mine and had to remove all the sound deadening and carpets from below the radio.  Fortunatley it doesn't drive the speakers or I would be worried about it getting hot.

i found out its the ushual on about 1983 models (or around that time)

thinking about it it does make some sense, you right the passenger cant mess with it, there is now space for a CB, and it is a bit higher 8)  :D
