Theres an echo in here :)
Its whats called a Honeypot
The idea is I need to see if the software I'm using can actually do a half decent job of stopping all the rubbish. So far its doing well but 2 emails a day isnt a challenge :) At the end of it all I'll dump that domain name and be done with it and have a lot of useful info.
Just a made up name and domain.

the easiest way to get spam is to enter "guestbook mugu guymen" into google and then sign up anywhere that it takes you.
a "mugu" or "guymen" is a nigerian name for the scammers who send the spam. they add their mugu name to a guest book to tell other spammers not to use the addresses contained there as they have already been lifted.
go to http://www.419eater.com if you want more details on spam, and fun things to do with the scammers.
good luck.

So if I entered my own E-Mail address on there would all that rot stop coming then?
If you want loads of spam, try putting a CV on monster, since Julie did it I have won the brazilian nattional lottery twice a week on average.
The thing is if they could read they might realise it's the CV of an educated computer proffesional, not some wet behind the ears nerdy twit who actually thinks you can get ritch overnight helping some Nigerian widow transfer her dead husband's millions out of south africa.

unfortunately not - they keep returning to farm the addresses. I use this as a way of scam-baiting.
They do not read the cv's - and you would be amazed at what they believe. I am currently persuading some lads in nigeria to build a wrestling ring so that they can entertain a team of UK wrestlers in a charity match, all for the benefit of the church that I run. They haven't picked up that Pastor Best and Rev Urenjin are not as godly as they make out. To say it all started with an invitation to pretend to be the only surviving relative of a Sierra Leone airplane crash victim, we've changed tack somewhat.
The full scam will be on 419eater.com soon, just as soon as I get the audition videos in from them.
If you don't want spam, then don't publish your e-mail address anywhere, or if you have to, use a secondary account that you don't mind being spammed.
