So i went to the post office (the main one in keighley) ask for a CB licence form and she said "I'm sorry we havent done those in ages, i dont know who provides them now, why dont you ring the TV licening people!! "

So i'm confused now.

If you've had a licence previously, then they use the call sign to tie up your application to the previous licence...

Everyone gets a unique one...

are they AM or FM now, what sort of thing do I need to get?

Any advice please so I don't waste the money.

They do packages which includes everything you need. The guy also really good with after sales service, hope this helps

If you are buying new, make sure you get one with both the UK and EU frequencies on them. (40 of each)

Have a look at the other CB threads further down the forum, there are some links to the usual companies who will be happy to advise on the best model for you.
