What? smoke, leave the car in gear, or set fire to themselves?
Saying that, when in my teens, in the 'oh so fashionable 80's', I was dropped a ciggy in the car. It fell right between my legs and very quickly burnt through the 'Miami Vice' style cotton slacks I was wearing. Not very good, when I turned up to pick up a new girlfriend with a large burn in the crotch. My trousers, by the way, not the girlfriend!

smoking whilst driving, been a non smoker myself i really dont have a problem with it, but been a driver on the road 10 hrs a day, you see some "close one's" as people are too either careless or cant do two things at once,

Driving a DMC car you get used to carrying a fire extinghisher and pulling over each time you smell smoke, well untill the recalls get done.
I seem to remeber someone telling me most of the Lotus Esprits are prone to sontaneous combustion too.

Smoking while drivings worse that using a mobile phone.
Don't do it [-X
