Title: machine mart
Post by: muddydisco on May 23, 2007, 21:03:30: Brought a welder from machine-mart april 14. Paid in full by the old swipe card machine, which produces a carbon copy, but never signed the carbon slip.
Had the VAT free flyer from my mate. He's had a letter today saying they can't take the money out cause the carbon copy has not been signed. So if he told them, that he does not know anybody by my name, does anybody know what would happen?

Sounds dodgey, the carbon slips never leave the premises, money is just taken, the slips are purely for evidence.....

Someone is talking crap or trying to scam you!
