Post by: William on May 25, 2007, 22:55:08
Will a td5 run on biodisel? im worried about running my new landrover on it. When i say biodisel i mean the priopper stuff with all the correct chemicals from an approved supplier. Anyone run there td5 on it? experiences would be greatly recieved. Thanks x

I think that the high pressure injection system (3000psi) Cant cope with the thicker biodiesel and cost many thousands to fix!

if the td5 is common rail the injection pressures will run around 1200 bar or so i wouldnt have thought anything more than B5 biodiesel would be ok as there are a lot of fuel companies that already are adding 5% to the mix anyway
