Moving house in July. My new pad has a garage in the rear garden and I plan to turn it into 1/4 utility room and 3/4 tackle room. I am going to be brickingh the garage door up and putting a UPVC unit in for added security. The current roof is a flat style roof which unusually pitches from each end into the middle with a central gully which then runs into a down pipe inside the garage and into a drain in the floor. Never seen one of these before. How much would it cost me to have this changed into a nice tiled pitched roof so it looks nicer and gives me storage space in the eves?.
Any builder/roofers out there help me budget please. Its an average size single garage.

If it helps I know a very good builder in the area, nothing like a recomendation than the normal run the gauntlet hoping to find a good one.
He did my extention last year and the price was good compared to others, assuming you are staying in the tadley area of course

For an accurate cost of the materials phone a few building suppliers / roof truss manufacturers with the sizes and they'll work out what materials you need and give you a cost. A builder will get materials for about 30% less than the figure you get. 2 people should do the full job in 1 day, so find out what the going rate for builders is in the area.

If the trusses come ready assembled 1 day it's only a garage [Edited]. 2 of us have stripped, felted and tiled a house roof in 2 days
-
existing roof to be removed and skiped, new roof timbers to fit (conventional not trussed as he requires space for storage) gable to brick up, felt lath and tile roof, lead flashings two men three days and that is going some

PM sent of a builder.
