It is reckoned to be the most beautiful bay in Wales, and because access is by foot only, will probably remain so.

Is the rock stack the one of the Castlemartin Range?

myself am born and bred in pembrokeshire, in the shadow of the preseli mountains (literally.. lived in village called rosebush)

freshwater west is one of them pictures, im sure of it

did you go to newgale? im going down camping next weekend as ive a new nephew in the family..

also nearby is wood park offroad, mentioned a few times in the lr mags and im told a section of the macmillan was done there?

top 2 are freshwater east stopped at the caravan club site there we went through newgale and stopped briefly gorgeus part of the country and the weather was stunning wish we where still there!! :cry:  8)

aye, but did you find the people there drive a teensy bit slower than you're used to

it drives me bonkers cos i drive to the limit (speed not ability) here but down in wales they trundle along! AAARRGH!

if you headed east past saundersfoot you would have stumbled across amroth then pendine (recently infamous for top gear car testing) but i dont think you can drive on the sands anymore.

by the way did you walk down to the church built into the cliff face down in the castlemartin firing range..? good that bit
