Post by: Tango on May 28, 2007, 22:10:52
No I know these have 2 square bolts on to check the level of oil/greese in them. Now can someone tell me what type of oil/greese goes into these as I know from experience putting the wrong stuff in can [!Expletive Deleted!] them up. Thanks in advance.

You can buy a grease called "one shot swivel grease". Its thin enough to get in all the nooks and crannies. Yet thick enough no to pass all the seals.

Hope this helps.

They are about £10 for two sachets. One is enough for each side.

So if like me i have opened them up to check and I can see greese in there then they are fine!!! Is it ment to be runny or is it thcker as it did not want to run out of the fill up hole.

It is like a runny grease. The consistency of treacle really.
