has anybody used/had any of these tyres?
i will be changing tyres to 235/85's in a month or two and i am wanting tyres to leave on full time. its not a daily driven jobby but i want tyres to cover dry/wet mud and hard rocky areas too.
i am running colway m/t's and for the price i cant fault them on/off road especially in mud, and the capability in dry rocky areas.
so i am wanting experiances with the coopers in comparison to colway's......

Hi mate, i dont have the STT but i do have the Discoverer ST which is a 60/40 Off/On road tyre, i think they are superb in all conditions and great on tarmac, brilliant value for money at £390 for a set of 5 fitted. I would have got the STT but i didnt think that the amount of off roading i do would need them, so far the ST have not let me down. So if my St are this good the STT should be even better IMO. Hope this helps.

Do you get LRO? In the May issue of this year, a tour company in the Lake District did a write up on them. Page 40.

They are the nuts .I got mine from sinton tyre [in lro] .I'm running 265-75-16.They are stt discoverer MT's.Alot of poeple will tell you to buy cheaper one's but in oz all the farmers that are around my granparents place run them and say that they are magic as they hardly ever get flats.
Not bad on road noise either.I paid £88.13 each inc vat and delivery and paid a local tyer fitter 40 notes to fit five ,not bad i thought.
