Title: BATTERY LIGHT ?

can enyone help with this problem, my battery went dead the other day so being the caring chappy that i am, i gave it a drink of water and a electric blanket for the night :lol:  some 12hrs later all was good untill it was reconnected back up the beast from bodmin, as i went to put the keys in the ignition i noticed the battery light was on again #-o  :-k  but hang on i still ent put the keys in yet :-k  and there prode as punch glowing away this little red ligth as enyone got eny helpfull surgesstions becase im  ](*,)  and it blinking hurts?

i have a feelign your alternator is shot, sorry. That would explain why your battery was dead and why the light is on.

ok thanks everyone seem to be saying the same thing so i think irl start with that :wink:

Agree with BUlli, especially as it's not a battery light its a charging light, look at the alternator.

Diode pack/regulator on the alternator is pooched :(

Might be able to get it reconditioned.

i got a new alt from LSUK for about 65 quid i think, well worth it
