Living near to Portsmouth and lots of military bases, there are several places which "lose" the location every time I drive past.

While out on the boat in the summer we we're leaving Weymouth while a couple of battle ships were doing an exercise on the range there. They gave us clearance to pass and gave us a bearing to follow that took us right past the side of the 2 battleships.
When we got within probably half a mile the GPS suddenly lost signal and didn't regain it untill we we're well away the other side. Was quite enlightening.
