This evening I went to pick up my son from cubs. Someone was sat parked in their Fraud Focrap in front of three spaces. I squeezed into one. When it came to reversing out I thought he would move. Would he? No.
I beeped .. he would his window down. I asked him to move, got some smart alec comment that I'd got in there in the first place. I said fair enough .. but if I reverse into you...he makes a remark that I would regret it and then he proceeds to block me and get out of his car.
Fat git probably thought he could punch his way out of being an inconsiderate fool.
Just mounted the kerb and drove away from the fool. Left him looking like the knuckle dragging thug that he is.
What is this country coming from when law abiding and considerate people have to put up with this crap?

You could always block him in next week

I've been asking myself the same question for the last 16 years! But don't worry, Commisar Brown will sort it out the the new 'Respect Tsar'. I'm really looking forward to seeing how that is going to work!
-
Not something I do. Might avoid picking my son up for a while. I don't like that sort of confrontation. I'm actually worried he'll work out who I am and come and damage my property anyway :(
-
People like that are what bullet's were invented for !!
only thing for it, reasoning will never work and they won't be missed
-
Atleast you had the last laugh!!
I parked in the parent and child space at Tescos and a posh woman had a go at me!!! She used the term "you are all the same"
So I asked who she was referring to, her reply.......the unemployed single parent!!!
Im married with a child in full time employment!!!
With a Parent & Child parking disc!!
:? :?

We could all come and block him in what about 4000 of us

Do i detect the slightest hint of sarcasm in there somewhere :?

know exactly what you mean about these knuckle draggers, i really cant understand the mentality of these people there are several like it at the kids school who think its their god given right just to be awkward and obnoxious to everyone else, to the point where my wife was verbally abused in front of the kids with words i cant repeat on here at school drop off time.
Unfortunatly for the protagonist my wife decided to make a stand and the woman now has an £80 fine for a public order offence and the threat of a court appearance should it happen again
-
We live right next door to a scout building. We're always getting people parking across the end of the drive because it will hurt their kids to walk 5 yards further. All the parents stop and have a chin wag so it's never a quick drop off.
I came home one day to find a car blocking entrance to my drive. Instead of parking elsewhere and moving the car later, I just sat there with my hand stuck on the horn. It certainly drew attention to me and the reason I was doing it. The cars stopped parking across the end of the drive for a few weeks, but it's starting to happen again.

bullys are all the same. they pick on someone because they think they will back down which makes them give it more. i have allways given as good as i get, im not big or well built but its suprising how many do back down when they know you wont go and cower in a corner.
i never pick a fight or start an argument but i'll never back down unless itts blatently obvious ill be in hospital or my little one is with us. one day i will give as good as i get and get given a good kikin though  .

I had both my kids with me.

None at all!
I just fail to understand lack of manners and courtesy. I always try to be polite, even when I'm 'requesting someones assistance with our enquiries'. They can hardly complain of 'the officer was extremely polite to me' :D

Try one 3 inch nail propped against each tyre approx 45 degrees in direction of travel to each wheel
Ohhhhh sounds good but I bet you'd get nicked.
It's from an old school coppers tale when he stopped joy riders killing themselves or others just prior to the evenings drag racing around the streets.
He stood no chance on his push bike, days of police boxes and whistles.
-
Why not just report the matter a) to the cub/scout group on whom's property this took place and therefore have some responsibility and b) report it to the Police. God knows we pay enough friggin taxes to have them, so may as well use them.
My neighbour had a load of verbal abuse from their neighbours. Frankly many people would have knocked him on his arse there and then BUT my neighbour isn't like that. He went the Police route. They visited is neighbour, took them all down the station to hear all sides then officially cuationed the offending 'gent' with the effect that another report would see him nicked properly and fined. Result? He doesn't say anything to anybody anymore.
Most of these people are all mouth and trousers. The slightest hint of the Police or old fashioned authority or even just refusal to do what they think will happen and they crumble.
-
Thee are a lot of numpties around, I think you were wise to not to rise to his bait. His time and place will come.
-
unfortunatly the world seems to be made up of these 'people' who thik it is their right to do what they, whenever they want... and its funny that the police always seem to pity them, not the innocent ones, i used to work in nightclubs and was attacked a few times, TWICE the police said it was my fault for walking around when their was drunks about !?!
with regards to idiots on the road, invest in a air horn on a permanant on switch, if someone cuts me up now i switch it on and just follow them about.. soon makes them apoligise !

Neil
unfortunately there are these short-sighted kinds about who think that fists/swearing etc solve all problems. :(
it would be real shame if your lad misses his cubs on the basis of that fool.
I wouldnt be detered by him - you should go back, and take the missus - A ranting woman is a very powerful and belittling tool for people like that!
-
i had a nasty neighbor who kept blocking me in my drive (among other things!!) so i reported him to the police, who came round to his for a chat and he moved it with them watching, then swiftly put it back after they left, this got him a fine when they came back 10 min later after a swift phone call !
then he repeated the exercise again after he'd come round to my front door f'ing and blinding and offering me out and i told him straight that if it wasn't for the fact he was an old man id have showed him the error of his ways.
the third time got his car impounded - how i laughed :D :D :D
-

That would be an awesome site (sight), can you imagine the look on his face  .
Where's me video camera

I remember a chap I used to work with, had a history of threatening senior people.
When he threatened me I let him finish walked away.
The next day I took him to one side and quietly explained the following:
"1. If you're going to do it, do it properly, put me in Hospital by all means, I have Hospital Insurance.
2. You'll be spending the rest of your life watching over your shoulder, because I will follow you and reintroduce the ancient art of 4x2, and once you're out of hospital, reintroduce him to 4x2 and so on until I get bored, which would take an awfully long time."
I think it was the fact that I did it so nicely and wouldn't accept the apology that he never made any threat like that again.

Classic, but the question must surely be;
Why not 4" x 4"?

Take down the reg plate and inform the cops by phone box that there is a strange man sitting outside a childrens club looking dodgy the rozzers will turn up in seconds and with a bit of luck they will find somthing wrong with the car or somthing in the car that shouldn't be there and if his attitude is as bad as you say it is ,it should be a laugh to watch too.

But that's just the sort of aggressive confrontational behaviour this thread is saying is wrong.
