Title: Dad just bought his off road disco :)
Post by: simon15 on June 09, 2007, 14:06:05
Well not quite off road prepped but it will be.

its a 'R' plate 300tdi with 127K on it. few small rust scabs on the rear door etc.. but everything is solid.
no funny noises or wandering...
Only paid £1650 for it too :)
only 1 owner and looks to be a farmer or something or just to tow a horse box..

Plans are 2" lift and some decent mud tyres most prob 236/85 as he doesnt want to mess around with cutting arches etc...

i couldnt believe it when he told me the price and what year it was.

He just needs to shift his Ranger now.

only rerason he wanted one is to go off road and not worry about it as he has started to scratch the ranger and it has limts whereas a disco has much higher limits :)

Fantastic Price.

Job 1 - Lose the side steps.
Job 2 - Lose the Horsey wheel cover.
Job 3 - Ebay the soft bullbar.

BTY you won't fit 235/85 on a 2" lift without cutting the arches....
