Is £90 a good price for a 8'x4' sheet of chequer plate @ 3mm thick? :-k
-
£60 is a more realistic price, will find out if the place i got it from is still trading
-
Ye please find out.
I'm not cheery when i gen ripped off.
-
my supplier would charge me £65+vat for that
-
I paid £42 cash per sheet  (Ordered 3 off)
from a stockest in Northampton
-
What! £42 cash. I think my mate Reg is going to get a kick in the christmas crackers tonight.
I get all the bad deals.
Keep the replies coming folks, it snteresting to find how much extra i could have payed.
-
Cash does it every time.
Well, most.
Or at least, frequently.
So if anyone needs a bit or chain or wire, I have a 'phone no............
-
i got quoted 72 inc vat at a local stockist, that was only for 1 sheet so would be cheaper for mor ethan 1
maybe we should all work out how many we need and order in bulk
probably be a tenner a piece if we buy enough
-
Hmm bulk order. could be a good idea but it still needs collecting.
I went to another supplier and was quoted £84 ex vat.
so that means im near £200 for 2 sheets, a bit of cash persuasion should do the trick.
