you need a special spanner, Halfords sell them

its quite a common modification.

Get a big spanner or the proper tool IIRC its a 32mm and remember it undoes the oposite to normal (left hand thread)

get kenlow kit, fit it, wire it and roberts your fathers brother

my special tools were a hammer and an old screw driver, but as Crazymac says don't forget it is a left hand thread

you could always get a twin fan set up from a car-breakers, test it first though before you buy it,

i got a price on a citroen twin fan for £15, 2 months guarantee.put that against your kenlowe and you could buy more goodies !!

ie: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XJ40-TWIN-ELECTRIC-FANS-93-94_W0QQitemZ180127707379QQihZ008QQcategoryZ10390QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

that will save the pennies.

 i havent even put my m/c splats on yet !!
