We’ve all seen the Sony advert on the TV where a housing estate erupts in a vibrant explosion of coloured paint. But have you ever wondered how it was done? The world isn’t entirely made of CGI……well, not yet!

Well, I hadn't, but I have now... Ah, the genius of viral advertising!

I saw it on TV, I thought it was done by computer graphics at first, amazing what they can do!!!
-
that ad was filmed just up the road from me, was great to stand and watch them blow up the barrels of paint!!
-
How was it all cleaned afterwards? :(biggrin):

the buildings were all due to be demolished anyway, that the only reason Sony got to do the paint blowing up.
Again, another fun day out for the family watching the demolition.!!
