Title: need to change ace pipes

i have a leak at an ace pipe to rear ram,i am going to change them,do i need to let of the pressure and if so how,once fitted do i need to bleed  the system,cheers gus

The Haynes manual for the D2 covers this - IIRC its fairly straightforward, but you need Testbook to bleed the system after changing the pipes and refilling the ACE reservoir.

There was a recall for leaky rear ACE pipes...........you sure your D2 had the recall done - a main stealer should be able to check if you give them the VIN number.

cheers, its a 2001 and basically they have rusted where they cross over the chassis in front of rear wheel,so dont think its a recall,goin to get my local garage to do it not takin any chances,got both pipes from stealer for £57.00 each if anybody else got same problem,cheers anyway,gus
