Seems a common mod. on RR's   also gets rid of the ECU etc.
I know the cam is different but causes no problem, NOT sure about the fuel pump or dizzy but someone else will be along shortly........

My advice.....
Decide whether or not you are converting to carb before you LPG it as many components are different (switch/control unit, fuel shut off/emulators, mixer plate)

Or fit the Hot-Wire EFi which is SOOO much more reliable.

Cam and headfs on the EFi are a bit tweaked up from the Carb models so you will needs carbs that can handle it.  You might still looose a bit of power though :?

air flow meter
ecu
wiring loom
and i think you would need an inlet manifold complete with all the bits on it

all can be found on any 3.9 rrc!

or just do what im doing in my offroader and swap the 3.5 flapper efi engine for a 3.9 engine with hotwire.

Hi, just wondering if I could also have some tips in converting an efi to carbs. I have taken all of the efi off a range rover and need to get an intake manifold and carbs and fit them. Is there anything that I should be doing apart from throttle linkages, rad pipes etc?

(anyone got any carbs available. For a 3.5)

You can keep the tank and pump, just join the wiring at the fuesbox.  The Hot-Wire loom wants to go in in one peice, there are IIRC 7 conections in the footwell but you need to move them within the multiplug to fit them to a flapper car, there are some you can ignore of those 7 plus ignore the other block with either 4 or 5 in it, this is for the airconn and heated screen IIRC.

You need the plenum and inlet manifold, MAF sensor, ECU obviously, air filter is different, then there's a lot of stuff you can leave off the hot-wiore system like the carbon cannister and the lambda sensors, road speed sensor and dash warning light.
