Been and bought one of these off the internet http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/picooz-micro-heli/index.html what a marvelous little toy it is excellent fun now i,ve finally mastered keeping it off the floor , away from the dog and not crashing into the windows.
its a touch jumpy on the controls for the ham fisted such as myself but after playing "Black hawk down" for most of the afternoon i think its more like "Airwolf" now
Now for the frustrating bit....its taken me most of the day to get the hang of this so when zacc my son comes in asking for a go i reply "its too fragile for you it takes ages to learn how to fly"
after some pleading i finally relent and let him on it
the little git only takes off perfect first time flys round the room and lands first time on it
the missus said the look on my face was priceless

LOl and he can set the program on the video as well...
Its it any good? I was looking at them on ebay last night...
-
i ordered one from www.iwantoneofthose.com on impulse late on thursday night as i liked the look of them and it arrived 8am this morning on parcel force so i cant fault the company or delivery, its great fun once you get the hang of the controls and learn not to over compensate you can really annoy the wife by buzzing her and low flying over the dog

The Picoo Z helis are the coolest toys available!
A few tips:
If you're going to buy one, make sure it's legit. Picoo Z is spelt with one C and two Os and is manufactured by Silverlit. The market has been flooded by fakes that are poor quality, watch out for them.
They are REALLY unstable when first charged. Before the flight, hold it in your hand on full throttle for about a minute, this will greatly improve the flight.
Forget the little silver stickers that come with it! A small piece of blue tack is what you need for decent forward flight. The more you use, that faster it goes.
If you find you have to give lots of trim to maintain a forward heading, twist the tail boom clockwise (looking from the rear) ever so gently.
When it starts taking a long time to charge, don't replace the batteries just yet. Only three are used for charging. Remove the back cover of the transmitter and swap the left 3 batteries with the right 3.
DON'T challenge me to combat, I'll kick your proverbial. I have a vid somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.
There's a new one coming out soon with a built in combat mode (like those mini tanks). Can't wait.

Wow it only took you most of the day  Johnty bought this (http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(15730)Radio-controlled-Helicopter-Wild-Wheels-CoAxial.aspx) and he has had it months and still cannot fly it or land it
-
Found the vid, view it here (http://www.xmob.co.uk/external/pz1.wmv).
I have another one somewhere of 3 in action at the same time. I'll see if I can dig it out.
Oh, and before anyone comments about the crash, it was a choice between possibly hitting my pride and joy telly or crashing.

I know the weather has been rubbish recently but it's not winter yet. You are months too early with the tinsel!!
BTW, what are you watching on the TV??
Fantastic control though.

'Twas xmas 2006. :D
Not sure what's on the telly. Not sure what the film is. I'm sure BTM will be along shortly to tell us.
-
 like it they,re cool arnt they, thanks for the tip about the blu tack
you were watching 6th day by the look of it as well(arnie film)

I got one of these (http://www.hdpower.co.uk/esky-lama-v3-helicopter-p-3.html) recently 8)
Excellent fun, but bloomin hard to master :)
Oh yes, my boys have no chance of getting their grubby little mitts on this
-
looks like a good toy, how are they outside though?
Not sure what the film is. I'm sure BTM will be along shortly to tell us.
I wouldn't have a clue, but it seems that 'beast' has told us, I'm not a fan of Arnie so wouldn't have known

They can be flown outside but it is advised to only do so on calm days. The helicopter does not have the power to battle wind - I have read stories of people helplessly watching their helicopter zoom up and off into the distance after being caught by the wind
Type "Lama V3" into youtube :)
-
they are very touchy in a breeze  mine dont even like the window being open as it makes it disappear off down the other end of the room
